  • Please Note:

    Please refrain from sending cash through the mail. Cash gifts should be converted to a money order or check.

    If your gift is in honor or memory of someone, please provide Dreaming Out Loud with the name and address of any family member you would like us to notify. If no address is provided, Dreaming Out Loud will be unable to send a notification.

    Gifts made by mail are tax-deductible in the year in which they are postmarked, except credit card donations. Credit card donations are tax-deductible as at dates of receipt and processing by Dreaming Out Loud.

  • To make a major gift, please make a one-time donation of $5000 or more to Dreaming Out Loud.  You will be welcomed into our Community Shapers Society after your donation. As a member of the society, you will receive invitations to special events such as our iconic Spring Festival, periodic organizational updates, and the inclusion of your name as a major donor in our Annual Newsletter unless you request otherwise.

Give Through Your Workplace

Workplace giving is an affordable and convenient way to give. Donations made through your workplace are also tax-deductible. Opportunities to participate in employee giving campaigns are available through the federal government. Most employers in the public and private sectors also offer Corporate Matching programs. Other opportunities available to employees include:

(i). CHC: Creating Healthier Communities/CFC

Creating Healthier Communities (CHC) provides opportunities for donors seeking to make a difference by uniting them with trusted charities. To find out if your employer partners with the CHC, contact your Human Resources or look for Dreaming Out Loud’s (DOL)  listing. Federal Employees or members of the military are also eligible to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign - a highly successful workplace giving drive. Due to DOL’s partnership with CHC, we also participate in the CFC.

Employer Matching Programs

Many employers across the country offer matching gift programs. They match charitable contributions made by their employees which results in an increased impact of either the personal donations of employees or their volunteer hours. Please contact your human resources department to inquire if your employer offers such a program.
