DREAM Program

Dreaming of having your own food business? Struggling with an existing food concept?

The Dreaming Out Loud Ready for Entrepreneurship Accelerator Modules Program (DREAM Program) is a 16-week incubator program for low-resourced food entrepreneurs residing in Washington, DC.

We operate a two-acre farm and food hub located in Ward 7, site of refrigerated storage and infrastructure to support the development of this new entrepreneurial hub and food system. This model is innovative in that we are the only food-focused organization that has cross-organizational alignment, policy influence, physical infrastructure; and relationships with community, farmers, and entrepreneurs.

What is the DREAM Program?

The DREAM Program is a 16-week start-up business program for DC residents who have food businesses or food business ideas. Food entrepreneurs will join a community of local food entrepreneurs, coaches, and industry experts to help take them to the next level through a series of workshops and tailored experiences.

Who does the program serve?

Marginalized aspiring food producers, primarily from Wards 7 and 8. We will recruit from the District at-large.

How can one be a part of it?

DREAM Program applicants must attend at least one virtual information session to be considered and we will schedule a virtual interview upon receipt of your application.
